Meet Bryan Smith
Bryan Smith, founder of Tuned Consulting, has over 20 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing in a variety of industries including legal publishing and information services, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, and SAAS software.
Bryan has built his marketing career on a combination of creativity and innovation with a strong analytical and data driven approach. From developing and implementing new cross functional processes and creating complex data model to planning breakthrough customer events and dressing as Ted Lasso to present at a company sales meeting, Bryan’s broad skillset can serve a variety of needs within both large and small organizations.
Having led marketing in both large and small company environments, Bryan has developed a unique perspective on the strengths of both environments. He loves the hustle and can-do spirit of a start up and also sees the value of having the right level or process in place to maintain consistency in both strategy and execution. He believes that process can be valuable, as long as it doesn’t exist for its own sake.
Before founding Tuned Consulting, Bryan has held leadership roles with Extole.com, Tennant Company, Thomson Reuters and General Mills. He began his career selling in the financial staffing industry and has deep empathy for what it means to be in sales. Bryan earned a BA in political science and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Minnesota.
In addition to his passion for sales and marketing, Bryan is a former member of the City Council in Maplewood, Minnesota, an alpine ski instructor, an actor and singer, and collects and restores classic Jaguars.
